Imprint
Compangon is an independent beta project. Full imprint (Impressum) details to follow. Contact: contact@compangon.com.
Privacy
Compangon is a local-first desktop app: your music — scores, manuscripts, compositions — stays on your machine and is never uploaded. The only data that leaves your device is a minimal, anonymous install record, and (if you create one) your account email. Product analytics are opt-in and stay off until you consent. Everything is EU-resident, and you can export or delete your data anytime from Settings → Privacy & data. Questions: contact@compangon.com.
Terms
- Beta software. Compangon is in public beta and provided “as is”. It may change, contain bugs, go offline, or be discontinued, and we can't promise availability during the beta.
- Your own model key. Compangon works with an AI model key you provide. Your use of that provider is governed by the provider's own terms, and you pay them directly for usage — we aren't responsible for a provider's output, pricing, or availability.
- Your music is yours. You keep full ownership of the scores and compositions you create with Compangon. We claim no rights over your work.
- AI-assisted output. Suggestions come from a language model — they can be imperfect or resemble existing music. You review and decide what to keep; please check anything before you publish or perform it.
- Free during the beta. Compangon is free while in public beta — and during the beta we don't charge for model usage either; that's between you and your provider. If we add paid plans later, we'll tell you first.
- Fair use. Don't use Compangon for anything unlawful, or to infringe other people's rights. MuseScore and any notation editor are separate products, not affiliated with or endorsed by Compangon.
- Changes. We may update these terms as Compangon grows; we'll post any changes on this page.
- Contact. Questions about these terms: contact@compangon.com.
